RS Staff: Mrs G. Clements

Religious Studies at Moulsford provides a balanced, unbiased approach to all religions and beliefs.
The students approach work academically and are encouraged not to promote a strong opinion without careful consideration first.
Therefore, all pupils will be given the opportunity to formulate their own views and will be able to validate their opinions
with a considered argument.
The department provides a stimulating learning environment through teaching, display, resources and experience. The boys will be taught a varied syllabus with an even balance of topics in each term.
The term ‘Religious Studies' encompasses a wide variety of topics; World Religions, Scripture, Contemporary Issues, Significant People, Current Affairs and Moral Dilemmas to name but a few. At Moulsford the students are able to approach all topics in a studious and investigative manner. They will understand the importance of accepting others views and develop their ability to look at religions, texts or issues historically, sociologically, analytically and ethically.
