Sports Updates 2009-2010

Moulsford Tennis Tournament

This is open to all of the boys from Year 2 up. There will be a short tennis singles tournament for the boys in Years 2, 3 & 4 and separate singles tournaments for the boys in Years 5 & 6 and Years 7 & 8.
There is then a doubles tournament for boys and parents, which all of the boys from Year 4 up may enter.

Tennis

There is an U13 fixture with the Dragon on Monday 21st June.
The fixture on Thursday 24th June away at Magdalen is now for XII instead of VIII, to allow more boys an opportunity to play.

Tennis Coaching

This is going to take place on Friday evenings this term. Year 5 and 6 from 4.30-5.30pm and then Years 7 and 8 from 5.30-6.30pm.
As the numbers have not been that high, all of the boys are still welcome to go to the coaching and enjoy the extra training.
Friday 18th & 25th June from 5.30 – 6.30 is time for the boys playing in the IAPS to have some specialised doubles training.

Swimming Squad Coaching

The swimming training on Monday 21st June will be for the U11 Swim Team only. This will be the last session, as there will be no training in activities week.
Well done to all of the boys who have been training and a big thank you to Katie Potter for her time and expertise.

Juniors (Years 3 and 4)

All boys in Years 3 and 4 will be playing mainly cricket during their Games sessions in the Summer term. Please see the fixture list for further details of matches, times, venues and directions.
