Moulsford Staff Victorious at the Crease

The parents and staff enjoyed another wonderful afternoon of cricket last Friday. Mr Beardmore-Gray and Mr Griffiths both ended up playing for the parents, as fathers of boys in Y8, which added to the excitement. The staff managed to score 180 runs, with all of the parents bowling, with I think with what can be described as a 'variety of actions', but all with their own value! Perhaps the most memorable moment was Mr Martin being caught and bowled by his Headmaster! The parents then made a very impressive effort to reach the total, but fell a few runs short in the final over. The shot of the day going to Toby Phelps for his six off Mr Chitty. It was played in a great spirit and this carried on at The Red Lion and the Memories of Bengal, with the parents and staff enjoying a wonderful evening together!

Thank you to Withers and Jaimie Noble for helping to organise the whole event and to Julie for providing a fabulous 'match tea' for after the match.
