Curriculum Assessment and Learning Support
All boys study a wide range of subjects. The school supports the National Curriculum, but our programmes of study are designed to extend pupils at every level, beyond the National Curriculum Attainment Targets. The subjects taught are Maths, English, Science, French, Latin, Spanish, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Information and Communication Technology, Design and Technology, PSHE, Music and Art, together with a comprehensive games programme.
Games

Boys are given every opportunity to pursue a variety of sports. The main winter games are Rugby and Soccer. In the summer we focus upon Cricket and Tennis. Judo and Fencing take place all year round. Other sports offered include Swimming, Golf, Sailing and Athletics. Inter-school matches are played on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons at most age levels. Annual tours take place for Rugby, Soccer and Cricket, with recent Rugby tours to South Africa being the highlight. Moulsford is justifiably proud of its fine sporting record.
Prep
Years 3, 4 and 5 have supervised prep sessions during the shool day. They are also expected to spend 15 minutes each night reading and learning spellings and times tables. Year 5, in addition, have an extra half an hour of prep to do after school on Tuesday and Friday (mid-week prep rota). Years 6, 7 and 8 have an hour of prep each night. Many choose to complete this prep at school between 4.30 and 5.30pm under the supervision of staff.
