Three outstanding performances from our talented cast and crew
After months of preparation and the creation of a spectacular set, Year 7 took to the stage for three fantastic performances of J.M. Barrie’s classic, ‘Peter Pan’. The entire year group of 43 boys excelled themselves, both in their on-stage acting, but also in teamwork and crew support.
Spectacular flying scenes enlisted the strength of fellow cast and crew for Peter, Wendy and her brothers to soar above the stage on their quest to reach Neverland. The key roles of Pan, Wendy and Hook were shared to spread the opportunities through this talented bunch of actors, although it was the crocodile who raised the most laughs for his lumbering gait and aloof ‘tick-tocking’.
Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew for a truly memorable school play – the boys have worked incredibly hard supported by relentlessly enthusiastic staff. Very well done and huge thanks to Mr Edwards and Mrs Squire and their team for providing us with such wonderful entertainment, and to Mr Clements and Miss Roberts for building such a superb set.
