And a chance to get the teachers wet!

Moulsford Pre-Prep children thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the firemen of Wallingford Fire Station today.  This was a great end to the learning that the Lions have done about The Great Fire of London and gave the Tigers and Bobcats the chance to meet people who help our community.  They found out about what the fire crews do (everything from putting a fire out in a farmer's barn to rescuing a giraffe).  They learnt about a fireman's protective clothing, fire prevention and what to do if a fire breaks out.  Best of all, they had the opportunity to see all the fire fighting equipment on the engine, go inside the cab and help a fireman operate a hose! Thanks to Officer John and his crew the boys had a great time.
