Abingdon Multi Event Competition
On Tuesday, boys from Year 7 & 8 travelled to Tilsey Park to compete in the Abingdon School's Multi Event Competition. This proved to be a great way to start the season, whilst also giving the boys the opportunity to compete in events that they may have been less familiar with. They did one throw, one jump, one middle distance and one short distance out of the following events: high jump, long jump, shot, javelin, 800m, 300m, 100m and 200m.
There were some fantastic individual performances, which all added towards the boys’ team scores.
Well done to all the boys, the final placings were as follows:
U13A: 2nd in the A Team Competition
U13B: 1st in the B Team Competition
U12A: 3rd in the A Team Competition
U12B: 2nd in the B Team Competition
