Charity Whole School

Thank you for your support

The whole Moulsford community is very conscious of the awful events unfolding in Ukraine and have been keen to offer their support. On Friday, School Matron Angela Gipson and the Moulsford Parents’ Association co-ordinated a collection of much-needed items for the people of Ukraine.

The response from the whole school has been fantastic and we have filled two entire minibuses and a car with all of the donated items. These donations are being taken to the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre and the Aid Ukraine depot in Benson at the weekend.

On top of this the Year 2 parents came together to raise a meaningful £650. With this they were able to make a large purchase at Costco of first aid kits, wet wipes, blankets, men’s socks, sanitary products, multi vitamins and energy bars, in addition to a charitable financial contribution for immediate help.

On behalf of the charities, we would like to thank parents and staff for their donations and we send our thoughts to those suffering in the conflict.
