Using Virtual Reality

In the run up to Anti-Bullying Week, which runs from Monday 14th November, boys from Years 4 and 5 took part in an Anti-Bullying Virtual Reality Workshop on Friday. The boys discussed the three main types of bullying; physical, verbal and online, and then used VR headsets to watch a bullying scenario.

The workshop encouraged the boys and staff to witness, dissect and negotiate a typical scenario to help decrease bullying behaviour. Developed with experts from the Bullying Intervention Group, the workshop created a safe environment to explore the backgrounds and motivations of each character.

The boys enjoyed the VR experience and reflected on the importance of uniting against bullying.
