Off to Animal Farm
What an absolute pleasure it was on Thursday, for Panthers and Pumas to spend time together exploring all that was on offer at Wellington Country Park - and to be fortunate enough to avoid the rain. The boys’ adventure began with them climbing, swinging and zipping their way around the woodland-inspired playground. Then, it was off to Animal Farm, where our knowledgeable guides, Claire and Sarah, introduced them to a variety of animals. They were given plentiful opportunities to pet and feed the animals, ask and answer questions to develop their understanding of creatures great and small and giggle at the cheekiness of some! The train ride that followed was magical - the boys pointed out every enchanting sight that they passed, of which there was a continuous flow. After a break to refuel, the boys went in search of the dinosaurs and the many adventure playgrounds. A couple needed a snooze on the way home.
