Creativity and teamwork on display

Our first Celebration Assembly of the Spring Term took place this week celebrating the work of boys in Years 3, 4 and 5. Members of Year 8 teamed up with the younger boys to present the work to the rest of the school. There were lots of fantastic examples of work across a variety of different subjects and the Assembly concluded with a creative demonstration of an unusual vocal score and some pogo sticking! It really is wonderful to celebrate such a variety of work – well done to all of the boys who took part.

Celebrations this week…

Year 3 – Hugh M was celebrated for his great work on multiplication using the grid method

Year 3 – Wilbur M demonstrated his new skill of pogo-sticking

Year 4 – William S, Gabriel E, Finn R and Morgan T showed us their fantastic fact files on India

Year 4 – Austin T and Arthur L were celebrated for their super work on multiplying by 10 and 100 and they really got the concept of 'sliding' to the left very quickly

Year 4 – Conan FG then gave us all a demonstration of how he has been helping to teach his class their numbers in Spanish

Year 5 – James R, Austin T and Hector A were highlighted for their committed Maths work with co-ordinates

Year 5 – Albie M has created a great diary entry for a character in the class reader

Year 5 – Freddie RC and Jasper D have produced a very clear graphic score representing a piece of vocal music, which they willingly performed
