Moulsford was delighted to welcome representatives from nineteen leading senior schools to our Senior Schools’ Fair on Tuesday.  A broad range of single sex, co-ed, boarding and day schools attended, all of which are very keen to attract Moulsford pupils through their doors.

Staff from Abingdon, Bradfield, Cheltenham College, Cokethorpe, Harrow, Magdalen College School, Marlborough, The Oratory, Our Lady’s Abingdon, Pangbourne, Radley, Reading Blue Coat, Rugby School, Shiplake, Sherborne, St Edward’s, Oxford, Stowe, Wellington and Winchester were all in attendance and a large number of parents took the opportunity to quiz Registrars, Admissions Staff and Houseparents in person. Unfortunately, the Head of Admissions from Eton was unable to attend at the last minute and sent his apologies, and he has very kindly offered to host a webinar for Moulsford parents who would like to learn more about Eton. If parents are interested in attending an Eton webinar, please could you complete this Google form and we will be in touch about a date. Thank you very much to parents for supporting this event. For more information about Senior Schools, please see our Information booklet for parents here.

We celebrated Harvest Festival this week, and this was the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and give thanks for the plentiful supply of food we have on our plates. We also talked about those families who are less fortunate than us, and the really important role that local food banks play in supporting families. Thank you to the Moulsford community for answering the Parents Association’s call to donate to Wallingford Food Bank. It was so good to see the children arrive in school on Wednesday with plentiful supplies, determined to make a difference.
