We understand that parents often need some flexibility with wraparound care and we have a number of options available for supervision for pupils both before and after school.
Pre-Prep
Early Drop-Off: from 8.00am
Children can be dropped off from 8.00am. They will be supervised in one group until they are taken to their classrooms at 8.30am.
Activities: until 4.15pm
The Pre-Prep day ends at 3.30pm. There are two options for those who wish to stay until 4.15pm. An Optional Activities programme is offered to all children in the Pre-Prep from 3.30pm until 4.15pm. Please see our Extra-Curricular page for more information (most are free of charge but some activities run by external providers are chargeable).
Alternatively, pupils can attend ‘Stay and Play’ until 4.15pm, which is free of charge.
Late Stay: from 4.15pm until 5.30pm
Late Stay supervision for pupils in the Pre-Prep is available until 5.30pm and is chargeable. A snack tea is provided for children at Late Stay.
For Late Stay, 24 hours-notice should ideally be provided. Please contact the school office in advance.
Prep School
In addition to the boarding option for senior boys, we do offer additional care out of school hours for day boys in the Prep School (Years 3 – 8).
Breakfast Club – from 7.45am
Parents may book boys into Breakfast Club to join the boarders for breakfast (chargeable), or just to be supervised before classrooms open at 8am.
Classrooms open – from 8.00am
Boys are welcome to go into their classrooms from 8.00am and prepare for the school day.
Prep or Activities – until 5.00pm / 5.45pm
The timetabled school day ends at 4.00pm. For boys in Years 3-5, Prep or Activities run from 4.15pm until 5.00pm. For Senior boys, Activities run from 4.45pm until 5.45pm with an optional Prep
session first. Boys staying for Prep and/or Activities are provided with a tea-time snack at 4.00pm.
Boys are able to take one of three buses home – the early bus which departs at 4.20pm, the late bus which departs at 5.10pm or the late late bus which departs at 5.55pm.
Late Stay – until 5.45pm
For boys in Years 3-5 who need to stay later (eg whilst waiting for an older brother), there is the option of staying for Late Stay until 5.45pm.
Day Boarding – until 8.00pm
Parents may book boys to stay as ‘Day boarders’, including supper and activities (chargeable).
Ideally this should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Changes to End of Day arrangements
We understand that sometimes plans can change last minute and we will always do our best to accommodate any requests through the School Office.
