A great day’s golf from Moulsford boys

Four Moulsford boys took part in the Wellington College Junior Salver Golf Tournament at the weekend.  This is an annual event organised by the Independent Schools Golf Association, which featured competitors from about twenty prep schools.

The competition was divided into two parts.  Stroke play, where you count the number of strokes a player takes, and a Stableford competition which is scored and takes into account a player’s handicap.

Jack P and Oscar P played in the Stroke Play tournament and came a credible ninth out of the twenty prep schools.

Milo G and Bertie WG played in the Stableford competition against five other prep schools and were victorious as a team with Milo picking up the best Individual Stableford score.

It was a super day and we would like to thank the parents for their continued support, especially Mr
Parry and Mr Phelps.
