A hugely successful and fun evening

Now in its 5th year, Moulsford’s Got Talent 2019 ran smoother than ever, largely due to the incredible team effort from the whole Moulsford Community. From boys to staff and parents, both past and present, it really was a joint effort and another huge success. We were delighted to see the Parents Association take on the running of the bar again - they did an amazing job. We are very grateful for their continued support.

Graham Sage’s idea to include the Showstopper Round of the Moulsford Boys’ Cake Off as part of MGT was inspired genius and we were completely overwhelmed by the generosity of our audience. The cakes did look truly amazing and tasted delicious.

Huge thanks must also go to our two brilliant comperes and our superb auctioneer. They worked perfectly together and managed the whole evening with great style, striking the balance beautifully between the charity element of the evening and the performances from the boys. We were so delighted to have over 40 boys involved in various different parts of the evening, from the performers to those selling raffle tickets; they all played their part superbly. We are very grateful to all the finalists for their efforts in preparing their acts so well and clearly putting a lot of thought into it, you really were the stars of the show. The winners in each year group were as follows:

Year 5 – Bertie W.

Year 6 – Woody H-H.

Year 7 – Jack P.

Year 8 – Theo McC

Our overall winner this year was Jack P. Well done, Jack, we were blown away by your performance, truly spectacular!

Our illustrious Head of DT, Jess Roberts, put together a very special Monstrosity this year, as it was the last time that Ant and Gaby Clements would be taking part. They played a huge part in putting together the whole concept of MGT from the outset and next year, their absence will definitely be felt. Thank you to all the staff who took part in Monstrosity and embraced the whole ‘space’ theme in true Moulsford spirit, their costumes were out of this world and their moves intergalactic!

See you all again next year!
