Raising money for Restless Development
Last weekend 210 teams took part in the Bradfield Schools Triathlon, raising money for Restless Development. The event, which started in 2015, invites children aged 7 to 13 to get into teams of 4 and complete a mini triathlon, with each team member having the chance to swim, cycle and run in a relay format, before crossing the finish line as a team.
Moulsford was well represented at the event with 28 teams participating, split into three categories; Years 3 and 4; Years 5 and 6; and Years 7 and 8. There were some fantastic performances on display in every category from boys from across the school, with a 1st and 2nd finish for the Runner Beanz and the Triguys in Years 5 and 6. Not only were the Runner Beanz victorious, they were also the 2nd highest fundraisers on the day and took home a special medal.
Congratulations to all of the Moulsford participants – the team spirit really shone through, with everyone supporting each other and having fun, with a lot of money raised for charity too. Well done to everyone who took part.
