Year 3 and 4 head to the kiln
Boys in Years 3 and 4 began their Ceramics activity after school this week and were eager to get started making their creations. It was very much a team effort for the first week with the group making an entire colony of penguins!
During the term the boys will learn how to hand-build clay objects using a variety of techniques, followed by firing their work in the kiln before glazing. We can’t wait to see their handiwork as the weeks go on.
