Clay modelling in the Art Room
Inspired by the term's theme of Toys, Year 1 have been busily making clay models of their toy inventions. Head of Art, Mrs Cummings, provided an exciting space in the Art Room, complete with tools to mould, cut and etch. The models were the next step in a production process that had begun with the creation of ideas in a brainstorming workshop, followed by labelled designs and colourful poster advertisements. Some of these highly complex toys are very good value - just £1 it would seem; so we may need to work on the concept of money if we are to be successful entrepreneurs! A huge thank you to Mrs Cummings for this enriching opportunity.
