Orchestra Days and a Junior Concert

Over the last two weeks we have been fortunate enough to take two separate orchestral trips to senior schools - our strings players enjoyed the Make A Noise orchestral day at Abingdon School and our wind and brass players headed up to Pangbourne to join other prep school musicians for a day of music making. All of our musicians benefitted greatly from the opportunity to work with children from other schools and should be very proud of their performances in the concerts in which they performed. Congratulations to all of these boys - you are real ambassadors for music at Moulsford.

The Junior Soloists' Concert then took place on Friday afternoon and was a celebration of music making in Years 3, 4 and 5. Over 30 performers shared their progress with a delighted audience, who enjoyed music in a diverse range of styles. We were treated to performances by singers and pianists in addition to solos on the harp, clarinet, violin and drums. The boys embodied our values of courage with their confident performance and showed true kindness in their appreciation for each other's talents. Well done to all involved - what a super way to head into the half term!
