A wonderful end to the year
In sunshine and with sweltering temperatures, we welcomed a bumper crowd to this year’s riverside Summer Concert.
A varied and packed line-up included an eclectic mix of musical styles with pupils performing on a variety of instruments. There really was some phenomenal talent on show. We opened with a lively performance by the Percussion Ensemble and this was followed by performances from the String Ensemble, Senior Choir, Pop Choir and Junior Choir (consisting of the whole of Year 3 and 4). We were also treated to some memorable performances from our talented soloists who enjoyed an enthusiastic response from the audience. We were also treated to a surprise set from The Mane Attraction, MGT’s 2025 winners.
Interspersed amongst the music were some drama performances delivered by our Year 8 Drama scholars which had the crowd laughing.
The finale featuring the entire ensemble of 150 performers brought the concert to a magnificent end, with everyone’s hard work and enthusiasm helping to make it a night to remember.
