Technicolour playground and fun workshops

On Thursday we enjoyed the ever-popular World Book Day, when the boys and staff came to school in glorious technicolour in their Mr Men (and Little Miss) themed costumes.  It was fantastic to see how much effort had been put in with boys and parents thinking outside the box (or in many cases, inside the cardboard box)!

After assembly, Years 3 to 8 enjoyed some incredible workshops led by the Moulsford staff, all linked to the Mr Men books.  The workshops included decorating cakes, first aid with Mr Bump, drawing comic strips, bouncing on the trampoline, making music and creating theatre!

The Pre-Prep also took part in a variety of workshops where they created marble runs for Mr Slow and learnt how to protect Mr Bump!

The catering staff stuck with the Mr Men theme and created Mr Men cupcakes for break time and then served a Topsy Turvy lunch.  Mr Jelly and Mr Cool (Jelly & Ice Cream) for pudding, which was served first, followed by green beans, chipolatas and thin french fries, all symbolising Mr Skinny of course.

Thank you to everyone involved in making World Book Week another huge success.
