Enthusiasm and talent on display!
Once again, our senior musicians from Years 6, 7 and 8 closed this half term with a wonderful and varied concert of musical items for their parents.
There were a large number of boys involved, and every one of them performed with huge enthusiasm. It was clear to see how much they enjoyed it. The audience was treated to a varied programme of solo performances, as well as music from the Jazz Ensemble.
The pieces, all chosen by the boys, reflected the wide range of instruments taught within the school, and the equally eclectic range of styles in which they enjoy performing. It is always gratifying to see how far the senior boys have progressed in their musical studies, this year, one even to Grade 8. It is very much hoped that the Year 8 boys in particular will continue to grow and develop as young musicians, as they move on to their new schools.
