Author of ‘Who Lets the Gods Out’
On Wednesday morning Year 6 was visited virtually by Maz Evans, author of the 'Who Let the Gods out' series that we are studying in class this term. The boys asked lots of great questions regarding what life is like as an author as well as discussing obstacles and hurdles that she has faced throughout the years. Maz also gave us some 'top tips' for becoming successful storytellers ourselves - one of them being immersing ourselves in a range of texts and genres for pleasure. It was a great way to get ready for our World Book Week celebrations next week.
