High Performance Lunchtimes return
High Performance Lunchtimes came out of its 'summer slumber' to welcome Sean Conway to Moulsford. Sean is the only man to have completed the Grand Slam of adventuring where he has completed a: first, fastest, furthest and most of!
Sean spoke to an almost full theatre of Year 7 and 8s for a Q and A session where he highlighted some great stories from his life and also the attitude necessary to succeed.
He then spoke to Year 5 and 6 which was a longer talk around his journey and his adventures.
Some of the key messages that came across were as follows:
- Have a passion for something
- Don't forget the dream but there might need to be stuff along the way you don't like to do.
- Remember they are hiccups and not failures
- Find the fun in what you do
- Don't lower your ambitions and Think Big!
