A chilly challenge for Moulsford Mums

During the month of March, a group of Moulsford mothers have been raising money for Cancer Research UK in a very chilly way! The fourteen ladies have been immersing themselves in cold water every day in March. With life sometimes interrupting, they swim as much as they can, but otherwise endure cold showers! Mostly, though, they have swum: at Cholsey, Henley, Clifton Hampden and Lower Stoke. The group swim together as much as they can, often in more and more extreme versions of fancy dress or with elaborate props! So far, the team has raised almost £7,000 but their target is £10,000 and they have until March 31st to do it.

The group has been brought together because of Moulsford and they have found the experience wonderfully bonding, even more so as their boys prepare to leave the school in the summer. We just love the example of Moulsford community in action.
