Low scores, high excitement
Friday evening saw the annual Parents versus Staff Cricket match take place, with the wonderful backdrop of ‘Moulsford’s Got Talent’. This year’s game saw a rather lower scoring contest than last, with some tight bowling from the parents restricting the staff to 149 from their 20 overs, and the Parents ultimately falling 12 runs short on 137. Warm spirit and camaraderie were evident throughout, with some excellent Cricket on show from both sides. Particular ‘thank yous’ to some of the Moulsford Mums for scoring, to a handful of Year 8s for assisting with the scoreboard and umpiring and to Nick Sedgwick for coordinating and captaining the parents’ team. We very much look forward to a repeat in 2026.
