Five Moulsford artists exhibiting at the Ashmolean
We are delighted that we have five artists selected to have their artwork exhibited at The Ashmolean Museum as part of Young Art Oxford 2026. Congratulations to Georgia M in Year 3, Leo B in Year 4, Arthur A in Year 5, Arthur H in Year 6 and Sam B in Year 7.
Young Art Oxford is an annual art competition and exhibition open to all Oxfordshire schools for children from Reception to Year 8. The theme this year was ‘Little Things Matter’ and the children produced some fantastic and imaginative artwork.
The competition is a wonderful opportunity for young aspiring artists to have their work judged by well-known professionals and artists and to exhibit at the prestigious Ashmolean Museum. It was an extremely tight competition this year as they had nearly 3000 entries so it is a huge achievement to be selected and the children should be very proud of themselves.
Young Art Oxford commented, “A huge thank you for all your fantastic entries. We simply couldn't run the competition without all the effort that you put into it. It has been a joy for our team and our four judges to see the incredible talent of our young artists.
Well done to everyone who submitted an entry and we look forward to seeing the selected pieces at the exhibition in May.”
