The Circus Came to Moulsford
Circus was the theme for this year’s Moulsford Parents’ Association (MPA) Summer Party and guests more than embraced the theme with the most fabulous fancy dress on display. We saw parents and staff dressed as strongmen, clowns, knife-throwers, mime artists and even the odd giraffe mixing with lions, magicians and trapeze artists! It was a feast for the eyes! A traditional big top formed the backdrop and guests were treated to fabulous entertainment with aerial artists, a juggler, fire performers and acrobats all wowing the crowds.
Around the edge of the space were food trucks serving loaded fries, paella, pizza and crepes as well as a fortune teller and the Instagram-worthy giant illuminated CIRCUS sign.
After the entertainment, Mr English took to the stage in a recreation of the Greatest Show, the ‘Monstrosity’ staff dance routine from Moulsford’s Got Talent. Eager staff members quickly joined him and everyone was up, and dancing before the end of the track!
The school would like to thank Sarah Edwards and the committee who masterminded ‘the greatest show on earth!’
