Moulsford Community Apple Juice

The first Moulsford Apple Day was held in 2017 and is still going strong eight years later! This week members of the Moulsford Parents Association eagerly awaited delivery of another bumper crop of apples.  Parents were asked to drop off their unwanted but usable fruit so that the 2025 batch of ‘Moulsford Pride’ apple juice could be created and it was a record-breaking load!

The MPA received enough apples to fill two cars and the fruit was taken to Chiltern Ridge Apple Press to be prepped, juiced and bottled with a staggering 474 bottles ready for the Moulsford Christmas Fair on 6th December. Some of our Year 8 pupils were first to sample the juice and it was a big thumbs up from them!

The fantastic idea of an Apple Day was first suggested to the MPA by a Moulsford parent.  We are always happy to hear your ideas for events or fundraising initiatives so please feel free to contact [email protected] at any time.

An enormous thank you to everyone who brought in their apples this week – a true Moulsford community initiative!
