Delivering uplifting messages

Since half term the children have been sending positive postcards to one another and to staff. This new initiative, introduced by Mrs Beardall, has been hugely successful, with daily deliveries of uplifting messages and pictures spreading kindness across the school. The postcards are totally optional but it has been heartening to see how many children want to be involved. Although this has been for children in Years 3 to 8 to participate in, it has been lovely to hear of postcards being sent to the Pre-Prep too.

Here are some examples to warm the heart!

I am writing to tell you that you are an amazing friend, and great at sport and a kind person.

I always like the examples you give in Art and you always help me when I need it.

Thank you for teaching me ICT, I thought it was very fun.

Thank you for being a kind brother.

Thanks for being a brilliant Buddy.

Thank you for being my friend for such a long time. I hope we can have a playdate or a sleepover soon!

I appreciate you helping me on some work.

You work so hard at home taking care of us and I felt that needed some recognition.
