Year 6 study ratio and proportion
Year 6 brought their ‘Ratio and Proportion’ topic to life when they had their own Mocktail Party, to help cement their learning and also have some fun. Each class was given a mocktail to make to put their knowledge about measurement into practice. There was the Mathito, an Apple (Pi) Elderflower Cooler, and the Daqarray! After lots of teamwork and putting ratios into practise to create the mocktails, the whole year group gathered by the river to enjoy a mocktail party, complete with Mrs Braden on the piano and some snacks! A great way to bring learning to life!
