Sharing a love of reading
I love watching the boys at book sales and book swaps. They get SO excited talking about the books and showing them to one another. This week was no exception. Lovely Helen, the owner of Wallingford Bookshop, came in to talk to the boys about what they liked reading and to try to match them to suitable books. I have to say that I am in awe of Helen - she has read 99% of the books that she has on sale for the children and her recall of plot is second to none! I hope that your children came home buzzing with the delight of owning a new book.
Now all that's left is to get them to read it....
