Festive Family Fun

The Moulsford Christmas Fair was once again a huge success, filled with family fun and festive cheer. There was an incredible array of offerings from our wonderful stallholders, with lots of items being bought as gifts (or in some cases personal treats!)

Our school stalls, enthusiastically run by the different year groups, were a huge hit, showcasing true Christmas Spirit, with the bottle, teddy and chocolate tombolas all hugely popular, along with the raffle for a House Hamper.

The South Africa fundraising team were out in full force and the SA branded bucket hats were adorning most members of the Year 7and 8 touring party by the end of the day! Race the Reindeer was fiercely contested with the rowing machine in use throughout the event.

The highlight for many was a special visit from Father Christmas, who delighted our younger guests in Santa’s Grotto with his festive cheer, accompanied by lots of lovely elves. All this merriment was fuelled by delicious food and drinks, generously served by our fantastic staff volunteers.

The Junior and Senior Choirs were in fine voice and our Charity Reps did a roaring trade with the homemade items.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success – from donations of goodies in advance and volunteering on stall time slots, to our fantastic groundsmen braving the elements in the car park; every piece of tinsel hung added to the festive magic. Your efforts make these events truly special.

While we’re still finalising the total funds raised for the Parents’ Association, we’ll share the exciting results and plans for their use in the New Year. Until then, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
