Buddy Scales New Heights
Huge congratulations to Buddy F in Year 6 who has raised an impressive £1,035 for Mary's Meals, with this money enough to feed 54 school children. During Year 5, he summited Snowdon and Scafell Pike, then conquered Ben Nevis at the start of the summer holidays - all three peaks achieved whilst just 9 years old!
Buddy said, “Last year I visited a local school in Tanzania to meet children in their classrooms. There were over 300 children of all ages being taught in four small rooms. They were very smiley and welcoming. It made me want to help them and others.”
Well done Buddy, a great effort!
