Pre-Prep pupils shine
Despite the grey weather this week, every member of the Pre-Prep has continued to try their best and enjoy all of our usual activities in and around the Pre-Prep. We started the week with a visit from St Mary’s Church in Cholsey, who shared with us the story of Joseph and the importance of family and kindness. We were mesmerised by the costumes and acting, particularly the moment when Joseph fell into the cave and when his brother ate an actual sandwich!
On Wednesday, we gathered together in the hall once again to enjoy the Year 2 assembly and a wonderful display of work reflecting how to look after our planet. Every child bravely delivered their lines, and the increase in confidence since Year 1 was particularly impressive. Well done and thank you, Year 2!
Today, we welcomed almost 30 families to look around the Pre-Prep and see us enjoying a normal day. All of our usual activities took place, including Playball, Maths, English, Library, Phonics, Handwriting and story time. It was particularly lovely to hear so many positive comments from our visitors about the children’s manners, smiles and enthusiasm. Well done, everyone!
