Ahoy there!
This term the Bobcats have embarked on a swashbucklin’ journey into the world of Pirates. Our young buccaneers have been learning about the kindness, courage and curiosity that Pirates need to set sail onto the seven seas.
We have had shiploads of activities over this half term, from map making, treasure hunts, counting gold coins in maths, we’ve spiced up our Pirate phonics, prepared Pirate worthy snacks and made some arrr-tistically wonderful costume accessories. We enjoyed getting dressed up and even worked on our Pirate slang to really get in the spirit!
On our Pirate Day we immersed ourselves in ship building, prepared a Pirate feast, enjoyed some fun role playing and created our very own Pirate personas!
It was such a fun day and the children hoisted the anchor and threw themselves into the wonders of Pirate pizzazz!
