Fun-Filled Open Event

We were delighted to welcome over 400 guests to our Adventure into the Wild Open Event last Saturday, including many of our current Pre-Prep and Year 3 families. Despite a week of chilly and mixed weather, we were so grateful that the sun shone and our visitors were able to soak up all that Moulsford has to offer.

Our staff offered a huge number of activities for the visiting children to get involved with, with the climbing wall busy, kayaking in the pool, paddleboarding on the river, music, face painting, paddling pool fishing, bug hunting, forest school, bird feeders, soft play and many more. With Pure Boating on hand to offer boat rides and a delicious picnic lunch from our catering team, it was a magical morning.

Our special guest was Old Mole Jack Randall who talked about his experience and love of travel and animals. He even brought along some reptiles including a giant toad and a bearded dragon.

Jack now has a company offering privately guided learning-safaris for families in Namibia. Their bespoke adventures are designed for adventurous families, combining camp-style accommodation and a Land Rover touring experience to track down the region’s incredible wildlife - from elephants to lions. It’s a rare chance to turn classroom curiosity into a real wild adventure with Jack.  Jack also operates trips in Costa Rica, Australia and Indonesia.
