Christmas spirit at an all-time high

The final week of term was crammed full of festive fun. On Monday we had our House celebrations with House Point winners Bering wearing their home clothes, and every house had an afternoon of fun including Just Dance and Dodgeball.

On Tuesday, Mrs Braden and Mrs Lunnon led the Big Band, String Ensemble and Pop Choir in a festive showcase at breaktime, including a singalong for everyone watching. This was followed by a fabulous Christmas lunch in Pre-Prep and the Boarders’ Christmas party.
Finally on Wednesday, the children in the Pre-Prep were greeted by Father Christmas (and his snow machine!) and then entered a real-life nativity in the foyer with all of the staff who had dressed up and were singing carols. They were also joined by canine companions and a special appearance by ‘Jesus’ in the manger (wearing a Christmas jumper!).

This was then followed by end of term assemblies in the Prep and Pre-Prep where awards and certificates aplenty were handed out, including Reading Stars, Moulsford Awards, sporting medals and House Points.

We also took the opportunity to say goodbye to some of our departing staff and thank them for their hard work during their time at Moulsford.
The Assembly ended with our final Pride of Moulsford winners of the term, Shekinah from Year 3. She joins Morgan T (Year 7), Wilbur M (Year 6) and George W (Year 3). Congratulations to them, and to Toby S who won the award in the Pre-Prep.
