The children in 3A excelled themselves with a wonderful Form Assembly about International Day of Biological Diversity, which falls annually on 22nd May.
Dressed up in colourful costumes to represent multiple different bugs and beasts, the children firstly explained what biodiversity is, and then why it is important to our planet. With a variety of questions for the audience, such as 'What is unusual about wombat poo?' Answer: it is cube shaped, and some very funny jokes, such as 'How many tickles does it take to make an Octopus laugh?' Tentacles, the pupils in 3A held the audience's attention extremely well with clear, well-projected lines and word-perfect delivery.
Parents, staff and pupils all enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining and informative assembly, and Mr Beardmore-Gray declared it 'outstanding'. Well done 3A!
