Welcome back to a busy week
What a busy week we have had in the Pre-Prep, and how lovely it was to welcome the children back after a well deserved half term break!
Miss Dawes, Mrs Bishop and Mrs Thomas began the week with an off-site workshop for Early Years' practitioners to explore outdoor learning techniques. They returned bubbling with new ideas and inspiration for the better weather ahead. On both Monday and Wednesday, the children lit a fire at our own Forest School site and enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate, which resulted in lots of sticky chins and extra smiles at home time!
On Thursday morning, we hosted Moulsford Tots in the Bobcats classroom (with special help from the Bobcats!) to make way for the Explorer Dome in the hall. The children and even Mr Beardmore-Gray, crawled in on their hands and knees to enjoy a magical display of planets, stars and the sights and sounds of the rainforest. What an experience!
We have so much to look forward to this half term, with a Show and Share event on the horizon and Easter celebrations taking place in school. Let’s hope that the sun finds its way out again!
