Find the teddy bear!

Year 2 enjoyed two wonderful Forest School sessions with some very mischievous teddy bears. The bears had escaped into the woods and hidden themselves among the trees and undergrowth, so the children set off on a determined search to track them all down. Even when the bears tried to escape again, the pupils showed great teamwork and perseverance to make sure every last one was found.

The following week, the children decided the bears needed proper homes so they would not wander off again. Using sticks, leaves and other natural materials from the woodland, they carefully designed and built houses for them. There were some fantastic examples of creativity, teamwork and thoughtful construction, showing real pride and dedication in their work.

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged with the woodland environment while solving problems and caring for their new furry friends.
