Gearing up towards Easter
The glorious sunshine has really helped us gear up towards Easter this week, and with signs of spring appearing all around us, we’re beginning to enjoy warmer days and finally fewer layers of clothing!
The highlight of the week was the Show and Share events, which took place on Thursday and Friday afternoon. The children loved sharing their work, identifying examples of things they’ve found most challenging, and proudly showcasing pieces they are especially pleased with. The notes parents left inside the children's books will be treasured and remind the children how proud we all are of their progress and enthusiasm. We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to see their learning and our singing too, with Farewell to Winter being a very fitting choice of song, we hope!
Next week, we look ahead with excitement to the whole school Easter service taking place on Friday in the sports hall and the opportunity to showcase our no doubt fabulous Easter Bonnets!
