A celebration and goodbye to our leavers
We were delighted to welcome parents, pupils and staff to come together to celebrate Prize Giving at the end of term. The event featured performances from the choirs, speeches from Headmaster Mr Beardmore-Gray, the Chair of Governors Edward Boddington and Guest Speaker Gareth Parker-Jones, Head Master of Rugby School who talked about success, the development of excellence and the importance of trying lots of things. He also focused on the important role that Prep Schools play at developing pupils in Years 7 and 8. One of the highlights of Prize Day is the speech made by the outgoing Head Boys and Benny, Freddie and Gabriel gave us some brilliant reflections on their time at the school. It is so important for the younger pupils to watch the Year 8s reach the pinnacle of their Moulsford career, as role models for the children to aspire to.
Although our Final Assembly on Tuesday celebrated many of the pupils’ achievements, there were still several prizes to be awarded from Year 3 right up to our outgoing Year 8.
Congratulations to all of the Year 8 pupils and we wish you every success at your Senior Schools.
