My Favourite Books
The children in Year 1 performed their Form Assembly for parents and their Pre-Prep friends on World Book Day. This year’s WBD theme in the Pre-Prep was “Reading for Fun” and the children in Pumas shared tales of their favourite books and explained why they enjoy them. They also showed us the fantastic paintings they had done of their favourite literary characters. The audience also really enjoyed seeing a selection of photos of the children reading in unusual or fun places. The children closed their Assembly with a beautiful song all about reading.
It was fantastic to see how much the children’s confidence has grown and to witness how much they clearly enjoyed performing. Well done Pumas!
