Harvest, Photographs and Castles
Well done on another busy and action-packed week, everyone!
During Monday’s assembly, I spoke to the children about Harvest and where our food comes from. Some of our 'Pre-Preppers' proudly shared that their parents are farmers who grow crops that are sold for people to eat. We talked about how thankful we are for our food and thought about how it is grown — whether in the ground, or perhaps on a tree or bush!
Next week, we are looking forward to joining Reverend Rebecca Peters at Moulsford Church for a special Harvest Festival. It promises to be a joyful celebration filled with singing, poems, and Harvest crafts from every year group.
A big thank you to all the parents who helped get the children ready for school photographs on Tuesday. Everyone looked incredibly smart — even after a lunch of spaghetti, which added both fun and a minor logistical challenge for staff!
On Thursday, our Year 2 children enjoyed a fantastic visit to Windsor Castle. The beautiful weather made the day even more special, and we were lucky enough to have front-row views of the Changing of the Guard with the Star Wars theme played by the band — a truly memorable experience!
Very well done to Rory S of the Lions for being awarded the Pre-Prep Pride of Moulsford this week.
