Pre-Prep learn about space, the environment and forces
The Pre-Prep department were treated to a visit from the Explorer Dome this week. Bobcats learned all about space, looking at planets, stars and moons as well as hearing ancient stories about the constellations and talked about the beauty of the night time sky.
The children from Reception to Year 2 enjoyed shows focussing on the environment and included sights and smells from the rainforest. We were immersed in a hot rainforest, dry desert and the freezing arctic and explored some of the world's habitats through animal behaviour, adaptations and camouflage and found out what we can all do to help protect our wonderful world. We even had a special visit from a polar bear rapper!
It was a fantastic morning and the children all learned a lot as their topics were brought to life.
