Reception visit the Crocs

The children in Reception visited Crocodiles of the World this week to support their Autumn term topic ‘Life Long Ago’. The children met Colin who told them how to tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator, that crocodiles can live up to 70 years old and that they make very good parents.
One of the highights was watching the crocodiles being fed where the children witnessed the speed and power of the reptiles as they feasted on dead animals such as mice, rats, chopped chicken and fish.
There was also time for a packed lunch and a play and all of the children had a brilliant time.
