Joshi spends time in Italy
Joshi T from Year 6 spent a very exciting few days in Italy training at the Juventus ground with their coaches and then playing against their Academy team. Joshi plays football for the Midlands and players from the four representative groups (North, South, South East and Midlands) came together to play in one team.
In the first game the team were still getting to know each other and lost 6-1 to a very disciplined academy team. However, in the return leg on the last day, they clicked and after being 4-1 down they came back to win 6-4! Apparently, Joshi is now calling himself an “international goalscorer" and we think that’s definitely allowed! Well done Joshi and we are glad you loved the trip.
