A look ahead
The Hockey season at Moulsford is set to be exciting and action-packed. At Senior level, we have five competitive teams, alongside four Colts teams who are developing their skills and experience. Across a five-week period, the pupils will play a total of six fixtures, giving players regular match opportunities while allowing time for structured training and development.
We are fortunate to have access to two excellent all-weather facilities at The Oratory School and Wallingford Sports Park. These venues enable us to run extended game sessions, focused training drills, and full-squad practices on a larger scale.
Our programme is designed to balance competitive play with skill progression, teamwork, and basic hockey skills. Senior players compete at a high standard, demonstrating tactical awareness and leadership, while the Colts squads focus on building core techniques, confidence, and game understanding. With committed coaches, strong facilities, and a busy fixture list, this five-week block promises to be a fantastic introduction to the season for players across all age groups.
In Assembly this morning we also announced that Theo T will be our Captain of Hockey for the season. Congratulations to him.
