A Squash and a Squeeze
4S performed their own version of the Julia Donaldson classic ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’ in an Assembly for their parents and the rest of the school. The pupils acted out the story, taking on the roles of the wise old man, the two old women and a whole host of hens, cows, pigs and goats (complete with realistic farmyard noises!)
The overall message was about happiness and being grateful for what we have and realising the happiness that we all have in our lives.
The children performed brilliantly, despite some last-minute cast changes due to absences, with even Mrs Symonds and Mr Sage taking on a role as well! Well done to everyone involved in producing such a fun Assembly.
